Online Sex Sting Results in 13 Arrests

This month, the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office made 13 arrests in connection with a major sting of internet child predators. These arrests included a local ninth grade coach and teacher as well as an officer in the U.S. Army National Guard.

The 13 suspects reportedly used social media to target children and arranged to meet up with investigators who were posing as children. They were arrested upon arrival. Charges include online solicitation of a minor as well as attempted sexual assault of a child.
